I'm living with a terrible person?
I already have the contract, None of us can move out- he writes down what I say, he copies me all the time and not because he appreciates me but because he wants to ruin my life and make himself sound cool and original to other people. He showed me the tattoo he was getting, and he got it yesterday and it wasn’t what he showed me. IT WAS WHAT I AM GETTING!
He must’ve looked at my computer or something, or searched my words and found it. He hates me cursing to him even as a joke, and when he is with his friends he calls me a “bitch”.
Anyway, I don’t even want to argue anymore because every time he copies me I tell him that he has identity issues and to stop it. He says no, this is how he works and that we are just different so he can’t understand.
What do I do? I’m about to stab him. I mean I’m kidding, but I want to squeeze his juice out. I wouldn’t do it, but it’s in my head most of the times.

I’m not sure I can follow anything in the details above, but I gather than you and your roommate are not getting along. Go to your college’s (or high school’s) residential admins and request a change.
He sounds like a stalker, stop having anything to do with him. There’s no rules saying you and your roommate have to be friends or even talk, just share living quarters for a period of sleep time. What a freak show.
He sounds scary. Did you ever watch the movie “Single White Female”?
Stop talking to him, altogether. Don’t give him any information, so he has nothing to copy. Password-protect your computer. Put a lock on your door.
Wait – so is this the “very close friend” from this thread? I feel like I’m missing a lot here. All of this talk about “stealing quotes” and possibly-coincidental tattoo situation? A “very close friend” that calls you “bitch”? I’m very confused.
What contract? A lease agreement?
For $4000/month rent, you can put a lock on your room door. You can protect your computer for free. We have already advised you to stop talking in front of him, particularly when he has his notebook out. (see @tom_g above).
But wait; you just also told us ” I’m a young lazy single guy living on his own.” This question
(To satisfy my curiosity, what graduate study program are you involved in? Fantasy and sci-fi writing?)
Move out. He sounds dangerous. Worry about contract and legal issues after you are safe.
Tatoos of anything – not original at all.

I’d move out, screw the contract. Do not tell him where you’re moving even if he asks. I’d probably move out in the middle of the night or do it when he’s not home. Why should you live like that when you don’t have to?
I’d rather get peace of mind and pay any fines that come with breaking a lease than to live with someone creepy like that.

You can’t change him, you can only change yourself. So better get out of this situation. It’s toxic. Start saving up the deposit on a new place and since the apartment is on lease you can always complain to the Landlord until he gets evicted.

how long is the contract? can you talk to you landlord and see if you can negotiate out? I usually charge people a buy out fee (usually equivalent to 1 months rent) and let them out of their lease in situations like this.
There is another OP very similar to yours @illusionslies. Maybe you can find more answers there.
Maybe some of you there answered too.
OP has left the building.
@gailcalled I guess so.
Anyway the OP was about a roommate. I write poetry and she copies me and writes poetry.
