Inspired by @ragingloli’s question. As a young kid, I wanted to be Superman so badly I actually prayed for it.

I never wanted to be one of the actual characters. I wanted, and still want, to be a new character inserted into the respective series and help resolve problems using my relative omniscience.
Lucy from Charlie Brown. I give great Psychiatric advise, but 5 cents…really? lol
Well, @Coloma, getting five cents for giving your two cents is a pretty good deal.
Winnie the Pooh. I wanted to live in the Thousand Acre Forest.
Inspector Gadget. Only for the gadgets. I wouldn’t want to be as clumsy or as lame brained as he was.
@flip86
Not much space left for a brain, when you install helicopter blades in your head.
@chyna, thank you—you reminded me that when I was a young kid I wanted so badly to live in one of those little burrows like Bugs Bunny had, with the little beds, and pictures on the wall, etc. They always looked so cozy and safe.
Not much room in them for a pachyderm, though.
@ragingloli I always thought the helicopter was in his hat.
Speaking of cartoons and honestly, not trying to be mean, but does she look a bit like Snow White retaining water?
^^^ Haha, she does. Snow White at 40 maybe?
I adore Sylvester, Tweety Bird, granny and Wile E. Coyote & The Roadrunner.
I never really wanted to be an established character. There are a few characters I thought (and think) I could replace quite easily, improving the situation immensely.
My favorite Saturday morning cartoon as a kid was Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, and I totally wanted to be Gadget. She was the pilot, inventor, and mechanic. Sort of like Kaylee from Firefly, if she were a mouse.
I wanted to be a Muppet. Fozzy Bear…funny, cuddly
There was this dude in The Arabian Knights, he could change into any creature by clapping his hands & yelling whatever animal took his fancy, ”size of a buffalo!!”
That would be quite cool.
Popeye.
Not because I enjoy beating up bullies. I’m just strangely attracted to Shelley Duvall…
I was Charlie Brown, but wanted to be anyone else.
I wanted to be an extra member on the Battle of the Planets team (mainly because of my answer to @ragingloli‘s question).
@OneBadApple—haha
Funny answer, though I have to admit Duvall was never my cop of tea. ;-)
@Coloma, I liked those guys, too. Sylvester’s lisp still kills me.
Aw, come on, Pachy…..she’s got that…...those…......uhh…....
You know, on second thought she’s really not my cup of tea either….
Esmeralda from the Disney version of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, I just think she’s so beautiful.
I never wanted to be Daphne, just wanted to do her.
Unlike Fred the pussy who constantly chickened out even though she practically laid it on a plate for the prat.
Well since I was in theater for half my life, I DID get to play two cartoon characters.

@anniereborn
Yyyyy…....yyyou….....you played ‘Annie’, right ??
Well, if she was willing to play Piglet, why not Annie’s dog….what was his name?
There is this song about Claudia and his German Shepherd.
@OneBadApple Yes, I played Annie haha.
@Dutchess_lll The dog’s name is Sandy
Oh yeah. Did you play Sandy @anniereborn? When my little sisters and I were kids we’d play house. Lexy would always be the dog. We’d tie her up outside of the “house,” what ever it was.
I’d like to be Miles “Tails” Prower, I am the youngest of my family and I like his intelligence
