It is not available from Amazon.com, I have already tried that avenue.

But why? One of the beauties of the 60s was that it didn’t make sense. It was a time of ferment and change, and the old rules were changing regularly.
Putting the 60s into a framework to make sense is corrupting the purity of history.
@Smitha many thanks but I want to buy from the US specifically because it is for my brother who lives there, NZ/Aus DVDs are region 4 and will not play in the US, I’ve made that mistake before.
@elbanditoroso But why? It is a wonderful series of programmes, I watched it myself and think my 15-year-old nephew who grew up in the US would find it utterly fascinating. I believe it is quite possible to put the 1960s into context without “making sense” of the era or putting it in a box, as I suspect you mean, it is very interesting to see the political and social climate that preceded the birth of so many movements.
@Valerie111 nice try, thank you, but the discs are region 4 and will not play in the US.
@pleiades Author? It’s a DVD not a book : ^)
http://www.sell.com/24DCLH I’m not sure about this one but it has been mentioned that all the DVD’s are region free and will play in any country.
@Smitha do you think that is genuine, is it a reputable site?
@Smitha thanks for that, good advice.
