The four F’s.
Family, friends, food—and Fluther. :P
My parents, without whom I would not be the fortunate person I am here writing this, and the friends, lovers and mentors who have loved me and taught me so much.
My God, my family, my country, my friends, my government, and my employment, from which I am about to retire. I have been greatly blessed.
That I got the yard all cleaned up for winter.
I’m thankful I went to another (4th) dentist who finally believed me that the last person who repaired my bonded tooth screwed it up and I have had pain since the day it was repaired; over a year now. 4th f$&king dentist. I’m trying to be thankful, instead wallowing in the fact that the others were incompetent, dismissive, and I still opened my wallet and paid them.
And all of those wonderful men and women in uniform across the globe!
Sorry to say, but pretty much nothing. I’m alive, that’s about it.
From a lengthy, sustained period of joy and prosperity to the dregs of disparity this last 18 months. I’m not in a good place this year, at all, and suffered a big disappointment today.
I guess I am thankful that I am smart enough to measure my unhealthiness right now, doesn’t mean it’s getting better, hey, when psychologists see their own shit splatter. lol
Sorry for the doom and gloom, when Coloma hits doom and gloom it’s serious.
@Coloma kind thoughts winging their way to you from down under…
It’s cold outside, but I just had a nice meal and I’m wrapped up in warm sweaters and blankets. It’s nice to be warm and full. I feel very content right now, like a fat cat in a patch of sunlight.
I am thankful for my Fluther sisters, and that includes you @Coloma. You often put a smile on my face and I appreciate it. I’d offer you some of my maple bacon coffee cake with bacon streussel if you didn’t live so far away.
My family, my job(s), and my friends – including all of you. <3
I am thankful for great family including a smart, beautiful and sweet child, a job that is not like a job with a whole bunch of perks and living in an era of technology where medical miracles happen and communication can be done via wifi instead of pony express.
Happy Turkey day everyone!
@jonsblond Thank you sistah…feeling a little better this morning after taking some bull by the horns. lol Eat til you explode today fellow jellies. Spontaneous pie combustion.
Family, friends, conservative long-range financial planning, Milo and antibiotics.
