How to make my boobs look good in this?

So I don’t have fake breasts, but I’m not flat chested either (32D). However, my breasts are relatively wide set so I need a bra usually to give me any type of semblance of cleavage. Is there a way to like tape them or something to keep them looking right? I’ve never owned a deep v type top or outfit so I don’t know how to go about this since conventional bras won’t work. I don’t even know how to keep my boobs from falling out lol

Here

This is actually very good (it starts around 06.05). If you are not a Jenna Marbles fan and wish to leave out the beginning.

Your link isn’t working so I haven’t seen the dress. You can get petals so your nipples don’t show and tape to hold the dress in shape.
There are also self adhesive bras that might work.

Yeah, I was going to suggest the same as @Judi, great advice right there.
Also…contented sigh/gormless grin :)

Jenna Marbles is no help in this situation, since you clearly can’t wear a bra with this outfit, let alone two. I’d like to thank Jenna Marbles, though, because I haven’t worn one bra by itself since I first saw that video. Thanks to her, my A-cups can look like perky, full Bs.

Since you can’t wear a bra with this, it’ll be nearly imossible to “create” any cleavage. You can certainly cover your nipples and perhaps use some of that waste-of-money tape for a bit of a lift, but bringing them closer together just isn’t going to happen.

This outfit is really only suited for women with certain types of breasts – breasts that need no modifications. And, to be honest, I’m not sure where the hell it would be appropriate to wear something like that.

@livelaughlove21 I wanted it specifically for a club party on new years lol. But since my boobs aren’t perfect, I might just go with this so i can get some bra lift lol

You could try double sided tape. It was what J-Lo used with her scarf dress.

Depending on the top/dress, you can use a deev v bra, also known as a plunge bra. They really work, and you won’t have to deal with sticking something to your breast (I am actually allergic to many of the stickies).

Here is one example. If you google plunge bras you should get many examples. Some have a lot of cookie in the cup and really round the breast.

@cutiepie92: Who decides whose breasts are “perfect,” anyway, (or “looking right”) and who cares? Fiddling with tape, petals, self-adhesive and plunge bras sounds so exhausting that I have to go lie down. Do you want to spend New Year’s eve worrying about being a pair of breasts with a body or just wear something pretty and have a good time?

You are young; you are lovely; (you have shared photos with us before) and you seem too invested in outward appearances, body part by body part. If you don’t want your breasts to fall out, find another dress.

@cutiepi92 I like that dress better anyway. I just wonder if anything on that website will fit a girl without a huge ass and a tiny waist.

I’m with @gailcalled Take it fro us old broads, boobs are so unimportant in the grand scheme of things. Just find something pretty to wear and let your boobs be themselves, as you should. I think my boobs need to go lie down now.

Unsolicited advice here that doesn’t answer your question. What kind of image are you trying to project by wearing these? I’m not talking about dressing sexy vs. covering up. You said it’s for a night club on new years, and if there’s any time when it’s ok to wear silly, revealing outfits, that’s the day.

What I mean is, neither of these say anything about your personal style. The description of the jumpsuit says it’s “retro and modern,” but somehow it manages to not look like either of those things.

Judging by both outfits, it seems like you’re going for a sleek, minimalist look. They’re each body-hugging outfits with bold, solid colors, straight lines, and not too many fussy details.

With that sort of look, a seemingly simple outfit can still look “busy” if it draws the attention to too many places at once. For instance, the jumpsuit is tight all over, and has a deep v-neck, and it’s gathered at the ankles (and it’s a jumpsuit- that’s a lot to begin with). The dress is better, but still seems “busy” in a way that I can’t really explain.

It’s like wearing jewelery. If you wear one interesting statement pendant over a simple shirt, everyone will notice your necklace. If you wear that necklace with huge earrings, a shitload of bracelets, and a loud shirt, it draws the eye everywhere at once, and the whole outfit loses its impact.

Clothes work the same way. You can look sexy and elegant by emphasizing one feature or detail, and streamlining the rest. For instance, here’s a jumpsuit that emphasizes the waist/hips through the way it’s constructed, or a long and flowy dress with a deep v-neck. Each of these have the potential to really make a statement.

Other examples, all appropriate for going to a loud club on new-years. This dress has a deep v-neck and clean, geometric lines. This has no details other than the cutout, but it’s still eye-catching. (Here’s an especially awesome dress.)

Tape made specifically for breasts is available.

@Smitha: That woman with the fake talons, the need to put every third word into fake quotation marks, the fake over-painted greasy scarlet mouth and the weird facial expressions is truly scary.

^ Egads, I just found that one.

Wow. That is scary.

@Smitha: You changed links on me. I am referring to this one

Smitha's avatar

@gailcalled That was truly scary!! I can’t understand why some women are so obsessed with their breasts, They need to be happy with the body they inherit and learn to put their energies into the life they make.

gailcalled's avatar

^^You’d think.

@gailcalled @Coloma umm ok my point was that I was trying to figure out how to wear a deep v outfit and look good in it for a party because I’ve never worn it before. Nothing to do with importance of breast size. I don’t think that’s obsessing over outward appearance; doesn’t everyone try to look good before they go out? I’m sorry I said “perfect”, but picking on that word is just playing semantics. I like my breasts just fine, but they look better in certain things over others (and I think that applies to most women). I liked the jumpsuit, so I wanted to know how to even wear something like that in the first place. Boobs aren’t important but I still think it’s ok to want them to fit right in an outfit.

Clearly I don’t wear stuff like this on the regular or I wouldn’t be asking the question, I just wanted to go all on New Years.

@JLeslie I have a sticky bra, but it would show in that outfit. Didn’t know about plunge bras though, they look uncomfortable lol. I may have to go try a few out though and see.

@livelaughlove21 nope they pretty much all have big boobs and butts lol. I kinda try to ignore that though and picture outfits on me because I have ordered a couple of dresses from there in the past that I’ve really liked. I don’t look like the models, but many times that means that something that looks a little “much” on them looks just right on me.

I think too many people aren’t taking this as a “how do I wear this and fit my boobs in it” question and instead are taking this as a “I’m dissatisfied with my breast size and want bigger breasts” question. The two aren’t related. I just didn’t want to look like this lol

@Haleth those two dresses from bebe are gorgeous! I just may go with one of those. Thanks for the links

@cutiepi92 With D cup breasts, I think it would be pretty impossible for you to look like that.

And breast size isn’t the only difference between that model and the others. This one doesn’t look like a slut, for one.

Personally, I think women with small breasts look better in dresses with that cut. Unless you were blessed with (or paid for) perfect perky breasts, it just doesn’t seem like it would look all that flattering. If you look like this, that’s another story.

JLeslie's avatar

@cutiepi92 They are not uncomfortable if it fits right, just like any bra.

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

@cutiepi92 I’m really fucking disgusted with myself. I went to the your breasts really make a difference place, that you are a body part. I’m so sorry. Not going to happen again.

gailcalled's avatar

@cutiepie92; And I have to apologize for getting so hung up on semantics and picking on a word for meaning what I thought it meant. Sorry.
