Do the thieves who stole the Cobalt 60 deserve sympathy or the Darwin Award?

They are going to their own reward… and they can glow in the dark on the way there.

If they are lucky, they die. If not, they turn into Ghouls.

Two armed, dangerous, and potentially violent criminals are off the streets. I don’t consider this a problem at all.

My vote is Darwin award.

The drivers were sleeping at a gas station? I thin the Darwin award should be split 2 ways for this one.

@glacial I’ve read all the Darwin Awards books. So much funny that leaves you questioning why we bother trying to survive as a species.

I would vote for the Darwin Award. If things are as they appear, these guys will qualify within the next couple of days.

Did anyone ever read the DA for these two nimrods that drove a brand new, uninsured truck, out onto an icey lake to go ice fishing and tossed a stick of dynamite which their poor dog ran after, retrieved, ran under the truck and blew the poor dog and truck to smithereens and sunk it?

I cannot think of a single reason to sympathize with them. What was the point of even stealing it? It is better when people like this are out of our gene pool.
