Do you love NORAD?

Asked by Dutchess_III (47139points) December 5th, 2013

I read about this every year, and it is so damn cool it gives me chills. NORAD tracks Santa’s sleigh every year. It started back in 1955 when Sears printed a “talk to Santa” ad, but put the wrong number in the ad. The number they printed was off by one digit, and was actually the number to a top secret crisis line for National Defense in Colorado. Well, here is the story.

Merry Christmas Ya’ll!!

It perpetuates the Santa Claus lie. It must be destroyed.

My daughter loves playing the games on the site and we have a great time tracking Santa on Christmas Eve. The site provides information about each location that Santa visits. It’s a fun educational tool.

I do I think it’s very cute.

Kids think it’s magic…which is WAY more better than cute!

It is cute, however some people are all up in arms about NORAD including a fighter escort.

They can get over it.

I’m gonna tie up Santa and stash him in the attic. See if NORAD can track that. Hmph. LOL

I just watched Santa travel from Durango, Co to Edmonton, Alberta in the past hour. Thanks NORAD!
