If you go onto wikipedia right now, Dec 11, 2013, at the top of the page you will be asked to donate money to keep wikipedia running. They will run the ad until they get all the funds they need.
Do you donate to wikipedia? I never have before, but I am thinking about giving a few dollars.

I did it. I use Wikipedia a lot and feel good about donating to it.
I am also tempted to donate right now, I use it all the time and I think it is one of the handiest websites out there. I have a random wiki set as my homepage, and therefore everytime I open Safari I learn something new. It’s great. I should donate, but I probably won’t. It’s been a really bad month in the restaurant biz around here.
Nice site but too many other pressing charitable calls. And I have a whole world of references to use (although I do use Wikipedia at times too.)
I have never donated money to Wiki, but I have donated my time editing and contributing to articles there. I’m an editor at heart, so it’s rewarding.
I like Wikipedia and I use it, but quite honestly I don’t put great faith in it’s content. I have seen articles obviously written by English-as-a-second language users, that probably would be pulled by Fluther. I have seen minor and middle-if-the-road misinformations.
Quite frankly I use Wiki because I’m lazy. There is better, more complete information available on the internet if we just take the time to seek it out. Wiki is a great information site that just facilitates human laziness.
You see, I’m torn, so I won’ be donating.
Money is so tight I don’t donate to many places, so No.
Yes. Services/software like Wikipedia that are valuable to me are worth more than the $5 I donated.
I do and have for a long time. I also contribute my time checking up on references to make sure they are valid. I often find fake references.
If I used it more I would be more inclined to give it serious thought. I really don’t use it much.
