Black tie?

I am going to a wedding this weekend that is “black tie optional”. I was going to just wear my black suit, white shirt, and a normal black tie. Is there any ettiquite(sp) that I am overlooking that would make this strange?

I’m not in the wedding, just attending, and will likely get plastered at the reception.
