I’m rather fond of The Tick (and if I can have a vote for an anti-hero, I thought Moist was brilliant “Need anything made damp… or soggy?”).
Marshal Law , he hunts ‘heroes’ and retires them from active service .
Kick Ass was kind of weird, but I’m like @syz. I loved Patrick Warburton as The Tick.
@wildpotato Aww, I love The Maxx!
And I’ll give another vote for The Tick… but not the live action version. :P
I used to have a cartoon book called “Captain Crud, Wonder Warthog and other super stuff”
I often wonder what happened to it and wish I had it back
They were pretty unconventional.
@rojo I haven’t thought of Wonder Warthog in years ! I remember in one issue where he and President Lyndon B. Johnson had a duel , of sorts , with cow-patties . lol
Does anyone remember:
Faster that a speeding three year old
More powerful than the average sized woman
Able to leap large puddles (If the wind is with him)
ITS – “ORDINARY MAN”!!!!!
Ohhhh… that reminds me of this quintessential Canadian superhero.
“Fighter of crime, defender of good, brother of Ted. The story of Mr Canoehead is so incredible, only Mormons would believe it.”
