Who else can join me in saying that 2013 was a merciful one for them?

I am not necessarily saying that everything went super well, but at least it may have been a smooth one. So can you thank 2013 for that?

I was pretty good I guess. Had many successes, but many problems, too. I certainly think the successes outweigh the problems. I also learned a hell of a lot. I know much more now than I did on 12/31/2012.
I will tell you, who can not: Trayvon Martin.
Fuck no! 2013 was the worst year of my life to date. There was no mercy, only cut throat, do what you have to do. lol
To those who had it bad, I hope this one treats you ( and all of us ) well!
My daughter quit smoking.
My other daughter got married to a great guy.
My son bought a town house.
My wife got her 2nd cochlear implant.
and I retired.
Hard to complain about a year when so many blessings happened.
I’m 63 years old and 2013 was by far the worst year of my life. Things are great now and I’m feeling terrific and looking forward to a fantastic new year. But I’ll settle for a mediocre one. HA!
2013 was a pretty good year for me. The last few months have sucked, however. Things at home are finally getting back on track.
For the most part, yes. 2013 was one of the better years in my 27 year history.
