Can anyone suggest a work-from-home, online job that isn't a scam?

I’ve done a few Google searches, but still can’t tell what is legitimate and what’s not. Just looking for something simple, and preferably not customer service. Even affiliate marketing would be fine. Anything I can do for just a couple hours a day. If I have to pay something to get started, that’s fine too, as long as it’s minimal.

Why not learn how to do medical transcription? (Note: I am not recommending this particular company, as there are many, but they did have a flashy website). You can make a decent amount of money if you are literate (which you are) and can type fast (probably decent enough since you fluther a lot). Good luck.
Thanks shilolo – I took the typing test: 84 wpm. That’s a start, I guess.
All I can say is that I depend on transcriptionists for sure, and there will always be a demand for that service (although some doctors I know have shifted to voice recognition software). The hospital I work at now apparently has a contract with some service in Utah, but my understanding is that you can work when you want for as long as you want, which isn’t far off from what you described.

An acquaintance of mine works from home as an online help person for a national drug store chain.
This is a great question…would like to see what others out there have to say about this…
I used to sell perfume on Ebay and any other local online marketplace in my country. After years of experienced gained from ebay, I decided to open my own eCommerce based site, I signed up into Izzonet, and create my own site. I try to advertise my site, visitor came, some of them brought my products. In addition, I put some advertising space on my site as well and gain passive income through it.
My sister is working online as freelancer, she write for a well known website in my country and have decent income.
