When do you and your Christmas lights/display say bye, bye to each other until next time?
When do you take down your Christmas lights/display and pack them away until December again, Christmas evening, Boxing Day, New Year Day, the day after New Year’s, between Christmas and New Year’s, a week pass New Year’s, or somewhere before the 4th of July?

Back when I did decorate for Christmas, it was usually the weekend after King’s Day (January 6th, the twelfth day of Christmas).
January 6th.
I’ll bring out the “spring items” on Tuesday. LOL
I’ll probably take my little tree down next week. Not looking forward to it. :(
^ Then it will probably be longer LOL
@Hypocrisy_Central You’d think… but I’ve learned along the way that the only thing sadder than taking down a Christmas tree is a Christmas tree that has been left up a week too long. They get so dry and droopy.
@glacial Think of all those pine needles you will have to coax into the vacuum, if you can, such fun!~
My two little grandsons will be here until Monday evening, so I will be taking the decorations down on Tuesday, Wednseday and Thursday. They helped me put the decorations up, but they are not careful enough to take them down.
When Dr. J takes off that Santa hat and drops the candy cane.
As per tradition everyone normally takes it down on January 6th after 12 days of Christmas have passed. I took our tree down After New year day which is my normal practice.
On Jan 6th or as close as possible before, if the 6th is a work-day. They’re all coming down this afternoon.
The weekend closest to New Year’s Day. If NYD is a Wed, then the following weekend.
Yesterday; the weather was mild.
Usually New Year’s Day or the day after that.
