Is Fluther associated with Squidoo?

I mean, there does seem to be a common theme although I looked up Fluther on Squidoo and this is what I got;

“Congratulations! You are one of the FIRST to search for this topic in Squidoo. Why not be one of the first to BUILD A LENS on it?.”

The sites seem to be rather innovative in their own fields. Squidoo is a unique blogging site really like no other and I can say the same for the unique format of Fluther. Both seem to be well moderated too… Due to the obvious squid references in both places wouldn’t it make sense that the 2 sites became buddies?

What are your thoughts? I’d love to have my questions here appear on a blog site. It would also be cool if we could write blogs there and get feedback about them here. I mean, when you sign up for a Gmail account you automatically have a youtube, google and google+ account… Probably more too… Why not do that here also? It’ll be fun!

I just like the idea of a single account accomplishing different things. Let me know your thoughts on this.
