What do you think about a Fluther babies page?

That’s what Flickr Groups are for. But I’d contrib to that.

I’m probably over-protective, but I don’t put pictures of my kids on publicly-accessible web pages.

I agree with phoenyx . Altho it’s a great thought to have a place to share kid’s pics, I’ve seen what trolls can do with photoshop, and it’s not very nice. It’s a shame that there are such idiots on the web, but because they are out there, we have to think of the kids.

I agree with phoenyx I wouldn’t want my kids pictures on any publicly-accessible web page. You never know whose hands the pictures will fall into or what they will do with it. We have to protect our kids as much as we can while we can.

I happen to agree with phoenyx, scamp and babygalll! People can take something so beautiful and do ugly things to. Perhaps, I’m the only one that has become jaded, but by the looks of it here, i haven’t! It’s no longer the way it was when I was growing up, Shoot, and I’m only forty something…

Oh, I thought this was going to be like “Muppet Babies” so I was against it.

Agree with Phoenyx! Don’t have kids anyway. How about a page were you can upload pictures of us in our fluthers shirts (if we have a fluther tee?..) I don’t know. Anything but babies, ..

I don’t have kids but I wouldn’t support it. I’m not saying that they are on here, but there are creeps out there that will…well you know

@ everyone who answered – i don’t have kids either and when i first thought of this idea in the chat room, i really didn’t really think about it such depth. you all make complete sense of course. it’s easy to forget the kind of world we live in and though it is hard to imagine that any flutherite would use those pictures in a bad way, the truth is this kind of stuff does happen all the time and as parents, it is your duty to protect your kids from everything possible. Thank you all for taking the time to answer my question and giving me your honest opinion :)

A fluther birth announcement is really no different than one in a newspaper! Everyone has valid points, but I really want to share with the community!
