If Putin and the Russians are so proud of their homophobia, how does this make any sense at all? (See photo)

I don’t think the homophobia is as extreme as American media and liberals want it to appear. I believe the whole thing is blown out of proportion, selective reporting, and twisting Putin’s words.
Clearly misunderstood.
Russians are heavy drinkers. How many times have you drank so much you wished you had two toilets, one for vomiting, and the other for anal distress?
Every time I get the flu, I want this set-up.
I would be curious to know what the normal set-up in Russia is for public toilets. Maybe this is common in their country?
@filmfann Excellent answer. I wanted one of those when I had food poisoning. Would have saved lots of bucket rinses. Maybe this will catch on. Although I did like Putin’s statement that “until we cure homosexuality we won’t be able to increase the Russian birth rates.” Gives you a little read on his thinking.

Hell yeah. Never thought about two toilets right next to one another, but I got food poisoning last year, and that setup would have been ideal.
“Is this a new form of entrapment so they can arrest as many gay people as possible?”
Arrested for what? It is not against Russian law to be gay.
It is against Russian law to promote homosexuality to minors.
There is a distinct difference in being close to one releaving the body of toxins and another handling it.
I have seen some wacky bathroom layouts in the USA too… I think it’s just a coincidence.
