Is the so-called "crash" after cake or candy a myth?

I eat candy bars. I feel exactly the same afterwards as I did beforehand. Do you experience the “crash” of energy depicted on talk shows and other media? I don’t.

Yes, I do, but I am pre-diabetic.
Not at all ,when you eat sugar your blood sugar increases then after it dips just below your normal, before it returns to normal hence the (crash)
I do sometimes. If I have eaten well enough just before or earlier in the day it doesn’t affect me as much. But, if I haven’t eaten much at all or just junk, then yes I do.
I don’t feel any different. Maybe the crash comes from having a stomach ache.
Sure. Watch a pothead get the munchies. An hour later they’re slugs on the couch.
That’s more due to coming off the high from the weed than from eating @GloPro.
I don’t know about that. Back when I smoked, and I’ve done my fair share, if I didn’t plow through junk food I didn’t get sluggish. My favorite way to clean the house was high. Not to mention the shitty way my body felt the next day after eating my weight in donut holes… I never felt the same way if I didn’t eat them. Maybe it’s a combination of both, but I felt the sugar crash for sure.
I never plowed through junk food when I was high. I was usually doing some physical activity.
Yeah… I could add that to the list of the things I learned the hard way, LOL. As I got older I learned it was much more fun to get high and get out and do stuff… Then I just grew out of it all together.
