How does one find out if they are a ghost and later brought back to life?

Asked by talljasperman (21919points) February 14th, 2014

I wonder since I remember being stabbed in 1981 by an escaped mental patient in Edmonton, when I was four. I had access to the acashic records and I was able to make changes to my book of life. Later when I was 12 I drowned in the north saskatchewan river and I came out safely in a few minutes. When I was 23 I was shot in the head working the night shift in a store. Who is bringing me back to life? Or is it all a very complex dream? I have many other recollections, I found a human arm when I was five, and it disappeared when I told my mother, turns out that most likely a dog carried it away from a car crash. I have hundreds of stories that I can tell. I will put in on Fluther and later put it together into a novel. I will put most of the weird things in the I don’t know file.

Isn’t it amazing that you were always Canadian. It’s a huge world yet you keep getting reborn in Canada; lucky kid.

Who should you talk to? Maybe a priest if that would sit better with you than a psychiatrist.

First stabbed by a mental patient then punched in the nuts by a mental patient? Damn. Mental patients don’t like you do they?

@Darth_Algar I used to get around… now I stay indoors and safe.

There is no such thing as ghosts. When you’re dead, you’re dead. If you are brought back to life, the lack of oxygen on the brain could make you hallucinate.

@kritiper O.K. that can rule out drowning in a river. And being shot could be blanks and I was pistol whipped. and when I was four I could have been knocked out cold. I still found a severed arm and I still was able to divine some aspects of the future. Unless you want to give me credit for writing sailor moon and invader Zim when I described them when I was in grade 5 and 11 years old in 1986 did I divine it or write it?

It’s very simple: no one is a ghost who was later brought back to life. So for any person who is trying to figure out whether they are or are not, the answer is that they are not.

@Darth_Algar Then I need to stay safe.

@talljasperman Ah, the imagination and the brain starved for oxygen are fascinating things, yes?
