Android allows for two accounts to be on the phone. I want to keep my personal acct but the other needs to be changed to my work email. I have tried everything from clearing data, the cache, and disabling the app, then rebooting the phone, but my info is there always when I enable…. HELP! At this point I don’t mind removing the app from the phone but it wont let me… Uggg!

You can’t remove the Google app from an Android.
Go to “My Accounts” ,
hit “Add Account”,
hit the “G” for Google,
Should be on the “Add a Google account” click “Next” at bottom.
This screen should let you log on to another account.
Thank you for your answer but I cant find “My Accounts” are you talking on my phone or on computer accessing my account? Because on phone all I can find is general settings and it only lists out the two accounts I have on there. I am thinking there HAS to be a way for me to remove the account from the phone because if my phone ever gets lost or stolen then my info is in jeopardy.
Wow Thank you! I did it. You got me started in the right direction with “accounts”
on my phone under “Settings” I found “Accounts & sync” Clicked on it
then clicked on “Google” Icon
Then clicked on the account I want to remove,
then I touched the Menu button at bottom right of Android screen
and chose remove account.
Wow, Thank you Sooooo much Tropical Willie for getting me started! in the right direction.
