I just booked a long weekend for myself, my husband and our daughter at Chicago’s Most Haunted Hotel
I really don’t believe in ghosts, but I am fascinated by ghost stories and I’ve always wanted to visit a haunted building.
Please have fun with this question. Let me know if you’ve stayed at this hotel before or if you are familiar with the building. I’d also like to know if you have visited a haunted building and what your experience was like.
But the most important question I want answered is… who do you think will haunt us?

I’ll see what I can do. :)
Maybe you’ll see someone from the 27 Club – Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin, Jimmy Hendrix, Amy Winehouse, et al
Fartface Freddie, born & raised in the “windy” city.
Seriously though, you guys have fun, i’m ever so slightly jealous, but i’ll cope admirably.
You’re going to be bored to death, then fleeced for the privilege. Capone was supposed to have lived there and run his operation from the place. I stayed there the week of my Grandmother’s funeral in 1979, and before that when our floors were sanded. The Capone story was proven to be bunk. There are spectacular views from the upper floors, but you’ll pay through the nose for them. If you just want to be frightened, ride the 63rd st “L” to its terminus at Stony Island. And if that doesn’t do it, walk under the tracks back down 63rd. Actually, it’s been so long, I don’t know if the green line even exists anymore. Think I’ll google it.
Too bad. the “haunted” L station is now a dull YMCA branch
Does anyone know if the Windermere hotel is still up and running?
Since it’s in Chicago – it could only be the ghost of Al Capone, or Mayor Richard Daley a/k/a “Boss.” They are probably the two scariest people from Chicago’s storied past…..who better to do a haunting?
