Which jellies want to celebrate the day they joined Fluther?

Not really. Every so often I will realize I’ve been on Fluther for another year. For me, it’s been a little over 6 years now. I do, I believe, recognize those that have been a part of this site since/around my joining as different than those who joined later, but I’ve never made it a point to remember, much less celebrate that date. I can barely remember the birthday of my family/friends IRL, why would I remember or celebrate some other random date?

I’d love to celebrate your anniversary @Mimishu1995, but I usually forget about mine until late December.

@AstroChuck Lol. Years ago up on GameFAQ’s, I met this dude who was a big fan of Japanese animation. He was always quoting characters and acting like them on the board, at least through speech. Then some random dude is all like, dude, stop acting like an anime character. And he’s all like, I don’t act like anime characters, they act like me.

I didn’t so much join Fluther, more like washed ashore on a tidal wave of apathy.
Truth be told, that’s not quite how it happened, I rode in on the back of a mermaid, announcing my arrival with a honk of her titties.

I would only do it if @Symbeline would join me in burning a couple of Cohiba’s to mark the occasion! ;)

I joined in 2010 when a boyfriend of mine became a programmer for Fluther. :)

There have been a few mentions of people’s Flutherversary in the past. I joined July 2007.

Coming up four years for me on March 10.
Wow! My life is a blur. lol

My 5 year anniversary with Fluther is next month (if I stay here that long), but I find annual celebrations arbitrary and needless, at least for me.

Sitting here I have no idea when I joined; I would have to look it up. If you want to celebrate go right ahead, any excuse for a party, maybe they will open the mansion for us. My wedding anniversary is in a week and I still don’t know what I am going to do for it. That’s enough for me to have to think about and plan right now.

Since you aspire to grow a garden maybe fill up a wheelbarrow with goodies and champagne and push it into the bedroom in a skimpy little outfit. I’m sure your husband will be more than happy to water your hedgerow. lol

Sure! I joined Fluther on July 21st, 2008 (had to look that up) and have been the CM since June 2009 (phinotpi had to tell me that), but I feel like I’ve known you all forever! Today I stepped down as the manager, so it feels good to appreciate all the good things my time here has brought me. <3

I joined June 11, 2009. I was 17 and I had just graduated from high school. And I guess I joined the site a little earlier since I originally had a different username before I created this one. Definitely the longest I’ve ever been a member of one site and I’d celebrate it…

Today is my 4 yr. anniversary.
March 10, 2010, lying on my couch with major jet lag after flying 13 hours back from Taiwan and then driving 3 hours home from SFO after a midnight landing. I don’t even remember how I stumbled across Fluther, it just happened and I was instantly hooked. :-)
I do remember clipping my garage wall and dinging my car and ripping a chunk of wood off the wall.

It is true, most accidents happen at home. Fuck…that was one crazy night. lol
Fluther was a very happy accident.
