What does it feel like to have absoulte power and control of your own life?
Do you have to be fantastically rich to have this feeling?

It’s a high no chemical, no herb, no fantasy can equal. To lose that place is a gut wrenching loss.
I don’t believe anyone has absolute power and control of their own life. Power and control over the way one reacts to anything but not power and control over everything that happens. Some things we can choose, some things simply happen.
Feels pretty good.
No, you do not have to be rich
Couldn’t tell ya. I wouldn’t know.
Absolute power is loving yourself no matter what. Start there.
Anybody who can read the US Constitution will know how it feels.
Anyone who feels that they have absolute power and control of their life is deluding their self.
^^ ding, ding, ding… we have a winner.
I think whether we like it or not, besides all the obvious qualities that lead to having your life under control, wealth has to be up there at the top. I do not like that idea but it IS a fact.
No, it is not impossible, but it is unattainable. I know the difference. Do you?
@ZEPHYRA I expect that studies would or do show that wealthy people are not happier than those with more modest means. Substance and sexual abuses, indices of troubled minds, are not less for those of affluence. People with power are often not satisfied with what they have, but instead seem driven to find ways to increase and extend it.
I believe that those who are not struggling to survive, or who have not come from an abusive childhood, seldom seek power or have a desire to control others. They are more likely to respect themselves and others and are able to give and receive love.
It feels like a warm gun.
