He or she wanted you to quit smoking or playing video games, cards, drinking etc. etc.

Doing psych experiments on students including her… big mistake on my part.

My wife came ‘this’ close to dumping me for my drinking. I dumped drinking so I could enjoy the pleasure of her company under the roof of our house.

It would depend on the reasons why she’s asking. If my SO wanted me to, say, stop playing video games just because she thinks it’s immature or whatever then the door is——->. If she had some genuine concern about it then I’d hear her out.

Yes, I dumped my ex husband in favor of the pleasure of living in an asshole free zone. lol

A long time ago I stopped calling a girl because (I felt) she hassled me about my drinking. We’d been out a few times, we were starting to get serious.

I dumped a friend of mine because she wanted me to give up my “unusual” hobbies and take up more “girly” hobbies (which I found extremely impratical).
She doesn’t know that I have dumped her to this day though, because I still appear friendly to her and she doesn’t attend class faithfully.

Don’t tell anyone outside here, OK?

@Mimishu1995

Would you feel comfortable mentioning what some of your “unusual” hobbies are?

@Brian1946 Here are some of them (not to mention video games and Fluther :D)

Does sanity count as a “pleasurable habit”?

@hearkat Then my insanity could count too :)
