How can I get dual channel DDR2 memory to work?

My ASUS backbone PC (V3-P5V900) should support dual channel. But it's not.. I'm using USModular 2-gig chips and they should be seen by Vista (Ultimate) as 4. But they are seen as just a total of 2 gigs

What does the BIOS setup (when you get the splash screen, press either DEL or F2 or SPACE, depending on what it tells you) tell you the RAM configuration is?
