Have you ever woken up from an urgent dream, only to realize that what you remember makes no sense?
Had one of those last night/this morning. Frustrating to have such powerful urgency to do something and then not know how to act on it. Any similar experience?

I’ve only had a few dreams where I remember everything perfectly, and everything fits together.
Most of my dreams are like what you said. I wake up, and realize, “That isn’t possible.”
all the time, if I dream something weird, I just give a call to the persons involved, just to be sure everything is fine.
Almost every dream I have and wake up conscious of is negative. I wake up being distressed, uneasy, and sometimes in fight-or-flight mode.
Thankfully I forget them in a matter of seconds.
To answer your question, I basically always wake up thinking, “THANK GOD THAT WAS NOT REAL” and it usually was impossible and/or makes no sense.
I don’t think I was clear in my use of the word, “urgent.” This wasn’t a negative dream, and nothing was wrong. In the dream I urgently wanted to offer a certain kind of help. I woke up, wrote it down, and now I’m not sure how or where I would offer that kind of help.
What’s the help if I may ask??!
What I wrote down was:
“Offering something on Sunday of a workshop to help people relax.”
I have a sense of which workshop the dream might be talking about(?), but what I would “offer” at it doesn’t make sense to me.
you will offer your help at the workshop! ;)
All the time! I write down random words in the middle of the night that are very important to me at the time only to discover in the morning that they either have no meaning or in one case the word turned out to be the last name of a singer. Frustrating!
Thanks Dragonflyfaith – glad to hear I’m not alone!
