With special implants, forty-year-old Joanne Milne of England was able to hear sound for the first time ever. She’d been deaf since birth.

People working with her recited the days of the week and the months of the year for her to hear.

They also played John Lennon’s Imagine as her very first piece of music. I think it’s a fitting song for a glorious occasion.
