Has anyone stumbled by or discovered a good faith-based Q&A site?
Disclaimer In this place I know it makes about as much sense as a Gazelle standing in the middle of a pride of lions at the watering hole asking the lions what is on the lunch menu, but I could be pleasantly surprised.
While out and about on the Net has anyone stumble across a good Q&A site for faith-based people? I would not presume anyone would have actively searched for it, but looking for something else an errant mouse click and there you were, as unintended as it were. If you do know any could you post it? Look at the benefits, I may spend 95% of my time there and you can be spared having to deal with preposterous questions in the future. ~~

Apparently, wondercafe.ca was good many years ago – I knew some people posting there. I don’t know if it’s still worthwhile, though. Also, it seems to be more blog-based, less Q&A these days (though there is a discussion board), from the brief look I just took.
Some must certainly exist. I know for a fact that a lot of faith based forums and message boards exist, anyway. Don’t know about Q&A sites. Heck I can’t even find other normal Q&A sites that aren’t all the major ones I keep finding, and am not interested in.
^^^ Do I even dare click on that site? Who knows what I may find…..
You don’t say which particular faith. Evangelical Christian? Mormon? Roman Catholic? Anglican? Orthodox Jew? Moslem?
There are a few Christian focused:
Power to Change
Got Questions
Godvine
But it’s not like one could come up with a faith based Fluther, because “faith based” is not something that is open for discussion. Even theologians don’t get to debate most of the central tenets. Dogma is dogma.
Personally, if you’re looking to chat with people more like minded and ask them questions, I think you’d be better suited for a private group on Facebook.
Many private groups are Q & A like. Member asks a question, other members answer, and then banter back and forth occurs after several solid answers are given.
Fluther, IMO, is fairly one-of-a-kind in the Q&A arena.
@Hypocrisy_Central You mean I’m not good enough for you? Seriously though, there are actually several theists here still, some that don’t necessarily proclaim it like you and I for their own reasons, but I hope if you have a question, you can ask it here (In relative safety, they can’t come through the screen at you anyway.)
@johnpowell Well if you can come through my screen, I’ll give you a dollar! lol
Or did you mean something different, JP? ;)
StackExchange has Q&A sites for Christianity, Biblical Hermeneutics and Islam that might or might not be relevant to you?
That said, I enjoy people with views contrary to my own, to keep me open-minded. So please do stay! :)
Reddit has a few pages dedicated to Christianity, but there wasn’t much there last time I looked.

Many people equate faith to religion; I am not into any religion, in fact I don’t like them, I am into a relationship with God not a religion that has God in it. However, I guess the closest that will come to what I am looking for, would be Evangelical Christians, though finding true followers of that is almost like finding a needle in a stack of needles.

Oh geez, drop the boiling oil on me now. Does everything has to come back to Facebook? Can I truly avoid that site? Oh the humanity!
@KNOWITALL You mean I’m not good enough for you?
Of course you are Sister! <big hugs> You help me keep my sword sharp, (minds out of the gutter people, my sword is my Bible, the Word) you always give me something I need to go to the world and the Father to investigate, or ask the non-cyber brethren about.

Oh, I am not out of here just yet, to the chagrin of some Flutheroinians, I have a few personal goals I want to see if I can realize that has nothing to do with lurve levels, though there is an expiration date on achieving them before I believe them unobtainable.
how about Beliefnet? Not strictly a Q&A site but it does have an active forum and it covers all religions and faiths.
There’s always Sodahead. That place is full of Christian Republicans of the very worst sort (not at all like ours).
Thank you so much people, the options that can be found, great!!
