Apparently Sigbritt Löthberg has the worlds fastest internet at 40 Gigabits per second .

My brain, but it’s not available for internet access.

It would have to be fiber fed, naturally.

Probably in the work office of Mr. Bill Gates.

That woman @syz noted can post a fluther answer before the question is posted.

We’re on a business network at work requiring 40Gps to connect, but our desktops are isolated from it. Fiber everything. We’re investigating a microwave connection between Chicago and Jersey City NJ.

That article is almost seven years old. The new record set in january is 1.4 terabits per second.

This question is fairly naive. The speeds measured in any “fastest connection” are going to be between 2 single end points. It’s like saying..

What’s the worlds fastest freeway car?

The car might do 230 mph, but you can’t go that fast on the freeway. The freeway (internet) itself simply cannot support it. You have to do it on a closed strip. A closed strip really isn’t the freeway (internet) is it?
