Shall we say goodbye to Peter Oakley aka geriatric1927?

I hadn’t heard of him until this question was posted, but it’s always sad to see someone go. I think I need to watch some of his videos.

Never heard of the man and think it is pretty cool he made all those videos. My first impression was he reminds me a lot of an older Wallace

Thanks for sharing. I have a cassette tape of my grandfather, who was born in 1904, telling stories from his childhood to me when he was around 85. It is very special.
I had never heard of geriatric1927, but I will watch a few videos today.

I hadn’t heard of him until @anniereborn told me about him last night but I think what he did was amazing. I love to see the older generation embracing technology and using it to reach out to the young. I was browsing some of the videos of remembrance that were posted in the days after his death and nearly all of them were from young fans. And that is just brilliant.
