I hear that there are clues and references to characters and associations throughout the Marvel media. There is a story lurking there. Are you following it? Is it interesting? Can I read about it so I don’t have to watch everything?

Following it?!?! I’m practically living in it.
What would you like to know specifically dear faery??
Here is a pretty comprehensive place to start.
I will also answer any questions you may have.
I loved Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, and Captain America, but now I think everything has become so convoluted and tedious. But I’m really looking forward to The Winter Soldier, I’ve heard it’s quite different from the past few Marvel films.
Since nobody asked…
@cookieman‘s ranking of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Movies

2. The Avengers
3. Iron Man
4. Captain America: The First Avenger
5. Iron Man 3
6. The Incredible Hulk
7. Thor: The Dark World
8. Thor
9. Iron Man 2
(The Winter Soldier is amazing!)

Who discovered HYDRA? Is Dr. Fury really dead?
Do we know more about the drug given to agent Colson?
You like Capt. America?
Oh, and please say there will be more Thor. (Grawwl)
SPOILER ALERT
Who discovered HYDRA?
Nick Fury had suspicions, but HYDRA basically revealed themselves (after 70 years of plotting in the shadows)
Is Dr. Fury really dead?
No. He faked his death in order to go into hiding so as to continue to pursue HYDRA and other bad guy-types.
Do we know more about the drug given to agent Colson?
The drug is synthesized from the remains of the body of a blue-skinned alien – most likely of the Kree race.
You like Capt. America?
Si. It was awesome.
Oh, and please say there will be more Thor. (Grawwl)
Thor 3 is supposed to on the docket.
@filmfann: Ah, well if we’re including the Sony and Fox (technically out of the Marvel CU) films, I’ll add in The Wolverine, X-Men: First Class, X2, and The Amazing Spider-Man as well.
And good news about Daredevil: Marvel recently got the rights back to Daredevil. He will be part of a series Netflicks distributed shows (along with Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Jessica Jones).
No, I have sworn never to put my hand on any superhero comics!
I follow the movies only casually. The Earth 616 comics I try to follow regularly but with myself falling in love with Grendel Rose and with the coming of The Shadow vs. Grendel, well… [though I’ve become quite annoyed that Nemesis is looking to be getting – if it doesn’t already have – a movie deal before Grendel Rose. Grendel Rose is a much more well done character which one could look at and assume that he is how Batman would have turned out had he gone bad rather than a not-joker dressed up as a not-batman knockoff… but enough about non-Marvel shenanigans]
Movie wise, Winter Soldier was good. Though for me, the #1 Marvel universe movie is Amazing Spiderman 1 (Raimi’s trilogy can go get porked by an African Elephant for all I care). Looking forward to seeing how Guardians of the Galaxy comes out. Almost bouncing up and down like a child about to be given his first banana split sundae over the upcoming Amazing Spiderman 2. I am somewhat relieved that Toby Kebbell has been casted as Dr. Doom. Am not looking forward to Ant man in the slightest.
AND I WANT MY DAMN DEADPOOL MOVIE YESTERYEAR!!!!
@Winter_Pariah It’s such a shame Wolverine was such an utter disgrace. I thought the casting of Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool was perfect….and then what they did to him…....egh…...
I enjoyed the newest Wolverine movie – the one in Japan. Glad they opened with the bear thing, right out of the Limited Series.
