The one in that film where thingy says to whatsherface that something or other is whatever it was.
Outstanding performances from cast & crew, especially the scriptwriters.
Benjamin Sisko’s monologue at the end of “In the Pale Moonlight.”
Mr. Spock’s death scene in Star Trek II…...and how could we forget “Food fight!” in “Animal House?” So much for the movies.
Now on to TV – has to be the “All In The Family” sequence with Sammy Davis Jr. when Archie is getting his picture taken with him and Davis kisses Archie on the cheek. Totally priceless scene.
TV show – Last episode of Falling Skies
Movie – Blade runner…
The campfire scene from Blazing Saddles.~
For me it’s the amazing short scene when Harry Lime (Orson Wells) first appears in “The Third Man.” it seems to be locked out of Youtube, but if you know the movie, you know the scene in the suddenly lit alley doorway).
I also love this little speech, which he wrote, and the long scene in the Ferris wheel preceding it.
I’m sorry I can’t answer this question correctly, because I’ve just thought of some more scenes that are superb.
M*A*S*H
M*A*S*H
Other ones from M*A*S*H that I can’t locate are: one in which Hawkeye is talking to the psychiatrist Sydney Freedman. He is talking about a childhood incident in which his brother saved him from drowning. He says, “My brother helped me into the water.” instead of saying his brother helped him out of the water. It turns out that his brother pushed him out of a boat, almost drowning him. A traumatic experience in Korea brings out the truth.
Another M*A*S*H episode is when a news reporter is brought into the camp to do some interviews and film the crew in action. In one scene, Father Mulcahy is describing how it is sometimes so cold that a doctor will hold his hands over an open wound to warm himself.
In another M*A*S*H episode, the dialogue is spoken almost entirely by Hawkeye. He crashes a jeep while out of a mission, he is injured and manages to drag himself to a Korean house. He’s in a slight haze because of his injury, but he carries on a conversation with the family, who don’t speak English and himself for about a half an hour. I always thought that episode would have made a good play.
This scene from All American Murder
Has everything. Drama, Romance, Violence, Comedy, Christopher Walken…
Raiders of the Lost Ark (this clip at 3:45 has Indy and Marian tied to the lamp post, screaming in fear and pain). Best Scene Ever.
