What relatively good, cheap camera do you recommend?
I want a camera for vlogging with. I dont have much of a budget, but I dont need anything too fancy. Anything $150 at most is good.

i bought a panasonic lumix for around $300 or something about a year ago, it was a TZ1 model, i’m sure they’ve gone down in price, just take this advice, never get things to cheap, i mean, you spend a little more so you won’t have to buy a second one to replace the too crap to use first one…trust me…haha
The thing about cameras is you get what you pay for. You might get a decent camera for 150, but not a good one.
I have a Canon Powershot a560 and here is a picture of the library I took with it.
edit :: I paid around 150$ for it a year ago.
edit :: I didn’t realize that you wanted a video camera. Nevermind.
oooh, didn’t see that one either, isn’t there this really nice small cam i’ve been reading a lot about on gizmodo, uhm, it’s the…ah, the flip, well, just check out this article
There’s the DXG-567V.
The DXG-567V features the Rapid Blog Manager software, allowing you to easily upload and share videos on the internet. “dxg website”
You can purchase the DXG-567 for about $120.00 – $130.00.
I’ve heard lots of amazing things about the flip – they’ve just launched over here in the UK, so there’s lots and lots of publicity at the moment – but I’d be really interested to know just how they stand up in terms of quality. I love the idea of a super-cheap video camera, but if the product is rubbish then I’d rather spend a little more…
I know this is a long time after the post was originally posted, and it’s probably not relevant anymore, but I just got a Flip for Christmas, and I really like it. It’s wonderfully tiny and handy to carry around so you can use it whenever you want. And the video quality seems fine. I mean, it’s definitely NOT fancy, but it’s just what we needed, just something simple to capture those random, whenever memories.
