Is there something worse than annoying yourself?

If you have annoyed yourself, you know what I mean.
Playing tit-for-tat when you really don’t care
Saying, like, a word that you have, like, cringed when others, like, used it?
Repeating a great story, ad nauseam. Another, “I MET…” story.
If you’ve never annoyed yourself:
Are you that Beiber kid?
Do you have a navel?
Are both your senses working?
If a hand claps itself in the forest, does anyone hear?

I listened to some headbanger music for hours at a time… It all sounds like the same guy growling. ~ He might need something for his sore throat.
Oh my gosh I get on my own nerves all of the time.
I hear you, @GloPro! And how do you deal with it?
Adderal. And isolate myself from others.
I am also fortunate to have some good friends that will reel me in. If I’m being too intense our buzzword is “bananas.”
When this happens, I try to take a nap. Or if it’s really bad, take an ativan :P
Not for a very, very, long time, but this year I catch my self bitching about my work a lot, that annoys me because I do not like complainers. haha
What’s worse? Being really sick and tired of being sick and tired.
But when it does happen how do I deal… Well still nailing down the details but I go out hang out with people get busy accomplish something do something fun. Essentially get out of my head and live life. I also noticed that it is easier to be kinder to yourself when you are around people more annoying then you.
I don’t know if I could nap through it, @anniereborn. Over thinking this is one of the things that annoy me the most about myself.
Crap happens, @Coloma. I think a lot of it is you’re general funk over having to move.
It would never work for me to be around people even more annoying. It would almost certainly send whatever annoying thing I was doing into a frenzy, @Unbroken. lol
Nope. I annoy myself several times a week. I get on my nerves by
a) Being grumpy when dealing with people.
b) Using my legs, teeth, or fingers to tap out random rhythms.
c) Being unable to sit still. Preferably at the cinema/theatre.
By the time I notice exactly what is bothering me, I’m already pissed off. I do some damage control by trying breathing exercises, napping or learning something by heart. It’s exhausting.
Fortunately, I like myself most of the time.
ADHD, @longgone? I just to have the wibble-wobble have-to-have-a-part-of-my-body-moving thing and I grew out of it. As in, I stopped doing it and started gaining weight at some point.
I think we like yourself most of the time, too, here at Fluther. :)
@ibstubro Not that I know of. I’ve never been diagnosed with anything. I wonder… I wish I’d grow out of it, too.
That last part: So nice. Thank you, and likewise! :]
Well, @longgone, they recognize adult ADHD now. Perhaps you should mention it to your doctor?
They do say that the perpetual motion thing helps keep you trim; burns a lot of calories.
