Should I buy this dress?

This is the most frivolous question of all time, I know. But I am genuinely on the fence. Is this over the top in a fun way, where I could pull it off with a sassy attitude and the right dose of confidence… or would it make me look like a crazy person?
Feedback from people so far: “OMFG PLEASE WEAR THAT YOU MUST” and “too far? I think it doesn’t go far enough.”

To be honest, I would only wear it to a costume party. I think it’s mainly because I don’t like the artwork. I can imagine wearing something in the same vein, but with different colours or drawings.
No. It’s too different to wear more than once in front of each social circle you have. It would be fun the first time. Plus the cut isn’t that flattering.
I like the whole over-the-top, so-tacky-it’s-kind-of-awesome, all-over, photo print trend.
But this particular one doesn’t do much for me. I think I need more color. Or maybe a crazier print?
For almost the same price, you should just make your own!
Maybe a tessellation of Dr. J?
At first I was thinking that it would be awesome if you only wore it once.
Then I saw the price. It kind of reminds me of this.
The problem, I think, is that the pattern is way way too busy. Almost dizzying. And from far away, people might not recognize that the pictures on the dress are actually pictures of dogs.
Still, a rather interesting and unique dress.
In the same vein, I prefer this dress. I find the actual images of the dogs are more interesting. And it works better on an abstracted level when viewed from afar.
Look it’s cute and being a dog lover myself I like it. BUT it is not the kind of dress you can go out in every day in my opinion. If you were invited to a canine theme party, yes it would be just great, otherwise it will get boring. It IS cute though.
If you are a dog lover, and an individual who cares not a whit for what anyone else thinks, you can wear that puppy every day with pride.
Absolutely. That, or the one that @fluthernutter linked to. The sense of fun this displays says wonderful things about you.
(Disclaimer: I am a huge dog fan hence the username so I am not entirely unbiased.)
It looks bloody awful. Doggy trousers can be bought online at MyDawgPants.com
I don’t particularly care for it. The fabric is “cute” but I don’t the the style is particularly attractive on any of the three models shown.
At the risk of offending larger women, I’ll be honest and say this is a case of less is more. You have to be slender to pull this one off. I like the concept, but on a larger woman it looks ridiculous. The three models pictured are all too big to make this look anything less than bad. Okay, now I’ll look for a place to hide.
To each his own. I’ll say no more.
I hate it. I think it is a horrible diarrhea colour…
Cool. A puppy dress. I’d wear it myself, except here, no one would notice. I look forward to the sheets, sweats, tablecloths and towels.
What @Adirondackwannabe said. If you’re thin, you could get away with it once in public. It’s cute and if you really must have it, then go for it. I wouldn’t, however. It wouldn’t be flattering on me.
After all is said and done, it depends on what you’re going for here. IMO, it doesn’t matter if you’re fat or thin or somewhere in the middle, or how many times you want to wear it. If you’re going for seduction or to a formal occasion, I don’t think pup faces are really apropos, if you’re trying to appear 30 pounds lighter, nothing you wear will fool anyone, but if you like the dress and have a sense of whimsy that you like to express, get it and wear it with pride! It really doesn’t matter if you weigh 100 or 200 pounds. Have some fun! :-D
So, @Haleth, did you get the cute dog dress?
