What is "Grid TV" and how can I check it out?

I was told recently of a news report on Grid TV that I have not been able to find. The German site http://grid-tv.com is either very early in its development, or just plain hokey (with bad links).

The company is up & running with over 200 channels. The site seems to be in working order. Here is some more info.
