The average breast size for women is said to be 36C, what percent of women that size can pass the pencil test?

Asked by Hypocrisy_Central (26879points) May 4th, 2014

In another thread discussing breast size and its possible relation or comparison to the male penis it was said that brasize.com had the US average at 36C, confirming what I had heard some years back. The next thought I had was what percent of those women who fall within the average could or can pass the pencil test? I would predict at least 50% but it may be higher, or sadly less.

Let’s see. The pencil test. 1960’s right? It involved a secretary, a wall and a pencil right? I forget what the secretary was actually supposed to do. Oh yeah, don’t forget the immature, sex-starved ,chronic masturbators the secretary had to work for—you know, the morons who came up with the test, but never had the balls to actually ask a secretary to perform it. They just whispered their little fantasies to each other around the water cooler and giggled in a disturbingly girlish way when the secretary walked by.

So, what was the pencil test again?

I’m amazed that you could read that question on penis size and its responses, and take that as encouragement. Good luck with that.

In the last 40 years I can honestly say that I have not talked to a single woman who cares if she passes a pencil test. Women do talk about these types of things, almost always in the context of ridiculing silly things that some men still seem to need to speculate about publicly.
Eye-rolling always accompanies these conversations, and derisive snorts.

Also, the only pencil test I know is this

I’ve done the pencil test several times over the years. I used to pass it with flying colors. Now, with good posture, I still do. However, I slouch, so in natural standing position, naked, I do not. They are still spectacular (yay) but I see signs of gravity kicking in.

I’m a 34C.

A lot. Especially if they are young. C is smaller than you think I bet.

I polled all the women in the world who wear a 36C or 91.44 centimeter C and it turns out to be 41.36%. They report that their lives are dramatically more enriched and fulfilling than those who fail. So tragic for the other 58.64%.

You can lead a horse to water, but a pencil must be lead…not all that relevant, but still.

@ragingloli Fluther response
How many questions have we had about sex toys, sex in relationships, affairs in the office, bullies, bad relatives, etc., just trying to even out the numbers? Fluther is like Hollywood, everything old is new again.

Actual response
No, it is not the same question. This question as nothing to do with asking women why they are shamed into wearing bras when they don’t need to; that is, those who can pass the pencil test. In the aforementioned thread there was talk about visual perspective as to size and actual measurements of the breast vs. the frame or build of the woman, the size and shape being determined by genetics or DNA, etc. That got me remembering all the possible 36C boobs I have seen, be they in media or real life. If not all 36C are created equal, some might be the same size, 36C but not really have the same dimensions as the next woman; some might have nice, firm, full breast while others can be by measurement 36C but be flabby, saggy, and feeble. I mused how many actually pass the pencil test at 36C if they want to stuff themselves in bras for whatever reason notwithstanding.

Right before she sneaks out to the plastic surgeon to buy a pair, and then pass them off as hers made by a new training regime. Those plastic surgeon did not buy those Bentleys and Ferraris just off nose jobs. ~~

^ Of course they are not, they are not doing 50 boat loads of boob jobs a year. That is why they are too broke to afford a Ferrari, Maserati, Bentley, or Aston Martin.

Why is that sad? @Hypocrisy_Central

I suppose to suggest that most plastic surgeons take enormous pride in their work that goes far beyond the cosmetic would fall on deaf ears. Being “way too broke to afford a Ferrari, Maserati, Bentley, or Aston Martin” doesn’t enter into their considerations.

For example,

Cleft palate and hairlip reconstruction
Scar revision
Hand surgery
Breast reconstruction after mastectomies or, as you put it, 50 boat loads of boob jobs a year.

And the link I posted above, from my friend who has has most of her nose removed due to terrible cancer. She is going through many surgeries to have her nose rebuilt. Her surgeons are not spending their free time at car dealers.

@LornaLove Why is that sad?
Going on the fact that plastic surgeons are trained doctors and professionals, there is a normal way (for lack of a better word) for women who have good genetics, etc. breast shape to be; if they didn’t I do not think they could reconstruct or build a better one. It is like that cleft pallet, which is not the way it is supposed to be for the majority of people. Now one can say that is the way they were supposed to be, avoiding the term ”normal”. Because it is better no have a full roof to the mouth, even if you don’t want to say that is ”normal”, it looks and works better. I see it as the same when plastic surgeons speak of breast; to have the firmness and shape that needs no help is just better; seeing we do not want to use the word ”anatomically normal”.

@gailcalled I suppose to suggest that most plastic surgeons take enormous pride in their work that goes far beyond the cosmetic would fall on deaf ears.
I applaud them on that. They are doing Kingdom Business, even if they do not know they are doing it. And that goes to all the doctors without borders that will go treat someone with a medical, dental, or cosmetic need a nation where they have no doctors or not enough. What they do I am sure they get enrichment for far exceeding an exotic car that can go 0–60 in 3.8 seconds; and that is OK by me; hats off to all of them. Those who want to cater to gobs and gobs of women getting boob jobs for just themselves even if no one else seen it, hats off to them to.
