How can I fix my keyboard?

Asked by Unbroken (10751points) May 5th, 2014

I was streaming some content off my netbook yesterday, during which time I removed a couple of keys to remove some debris. I did not turn off my keyboard or change my settings, no sticky keys etc.

It ended that I could not use my entire keyboard, I tried restarting my computer and put the onscreen keyboard on in the meantime. However this is very inconvenient. And I did try to clear and restart my keyboard settings but to no avail.

Is there a way to fix this?

Buy one of those auxilliary keyboards that roll up and plug into a USB port. And quit trying to fix things that ain’t broken.

Hrm. Well I was thinking about an auxiliary but its just one more thing…. And sure one thing broke… But so many more to be improved by tinkering… I can’t leave well enough alone it is a compulsion.
