Is the War of the Worlds upon us?
This story shows video of a mysterious flying object they characterize as a UFO unleashing hell’s fury on a suspected Taliban compound. I am pretty up on war machines and admit I have never seen anything like it and is reminiscent of the alien craft in the movie War of the Worlds as it blasts away at its targets.
War has just taken on a truly Sci Fi component. I am afraid to ask what else the Pentagon has up it’s sleeve or is this war machine from outer space?

I doubt an alien spacecraft would have any reason to side with the USA or with any country for that matter.
That’s right @flip86. God maybe, but everyone knows that aliens are really demons in spaceships.
Do you believe in the War of the World, without the interference of aliens? I have a hunch that will happen, shortly :(
I don’t want to dismiss you. It’s just… I feel that the world’s political situation is just too serious for a war to break out. People could care less for such alien things right now.
Daily Mail?
Poppycock.
Dawg, u Crazy.
Lol, I love how horrible the resolution is in every one of these videos. We manage to capture some crazy high res videos of all kinds of extremely rare events around the worlds but every time it’s a “UFO” the resolution is at like 240p
@filmfann AFAICT that “UFO” was hovering and blasting away at will while it did. Your F-111 is not capable of hovering. This craft appears to be fixed wing with hovering capabilities unless I missed the high wire supports and photoshopped video. It is something very new or we I have been duped.
@filmfann I don’t think that’s the plane you’re thinking of, the F-111 Aardvark can’t move like that and was retired back in the 90’s.
Actually makes me think of the X-47 – maybe its predecessor the X-45 but that’s doubtful. It is supposed to enter service in 2019 but with a few prototypes manufactured and considering how “unknown” it is, I wouldn’t be surprised.
Maybe a weaponized RQ-170 but the wing span doesn’t look like a match.
Wouldn’t hovering just require the craft to be a VTOL
I also don’t understand why that if just because the civilian population is unaware of some military technology then clearly it must be aliens. I’m sure the militaries of the world have a whole bunch of tech I’ve never even dreamed of.
We have so many newfangled high falutin gadgets and weapons now that most civilians have no idea what is what or if these objects (like flying saucer drones) are man made or space aliens.
But, as @flip86 stated, space aliens are probably not helping us in our criminally insane war with the taliban (although they apparently have helped us developed many hi tech devices and war machines).
The last pic looks like the Millennium Falcon. If that helps
My money is on a drone! The distance of the object from the camera might give the illusion of hovering if the craft is viewed head on. An acquaintance of mine with a “mysterious” job once told me that the navy has BIG f-18 sized drones that can be launched from aircraft carriers. When I commented that there was no possible way to use such a thing and keep it secret, he looked at me curiously and said “If the thing flew 50 feet above us right now, all that would be reported would be another UFO sighting.”
@stanleybmanly True dat! I just witnessed a nighttime drone a few weeks ago which hovered around and then sped off and returned, sometimes with lights on, sometimes not. But I got a good enough look to see a VW Beetle sized saucer shaped object buzz by.
@El_Cadejo That guy is great. He may be full of it but he’s a riot to listen to.
