What was the most recent "event" you attended & which will be the next?

Funeral this weekend, wedding the next.

I went to a family party that was a combination of a 5 year old boy’s birthday and his parent’s housewarming party. We had a BBQ potluck. There were burgers and dogs and chicken, plus potato salad, cucumber salad, fruit salad, an assortment of raw veggies and ranch dip, carrot cake and red velvet cupcakes, 4 kinds of chips including these weird hot things I had never heard of called Takis One of my little nieces liked them so much that she ate way too many and ended up throwing up later and “missing the bucket” as her mom put it.

Most likely the next event will also be a niece or nephew’s birthday party. We got a lot of little kids in our family.

I attended Johnny Clegg appearing at Freight and Salvage in Berkeley CA. I participated in the Golden Gate Relay from Calistoga CA to Santa Cruz CA.

I have The Walk for the Animals this weekend. Anyone want to sponsor me?

My first Shabbat service in many years last Friday evening, in honor of my late Mom. I plan to attend every week from now on.

I went to an awards breakfast this AM to watch my son be the only student recognized from his High School for Outstanding determination and persistence in his High School career. Next week is his Auto’s Club car rally he will be showing my ‘66 T-bird which is always a fun day.

Thanks @Pachy It is even more amazing in that his sophomore year he dropped out of school for 3 months and managed to pull it together and graduate a semester early with all Honors.

Nothing Earth shattering. Last weekend was Mothers Day, so we had a minor event for that. This weekend will be the long delayed retirement party for my sister and me. We both retired at the end of last year, and both moved up North to be close to my other sister.

My brothers wedding was on the 25th of last month. Rehearsal for graduation is tomorrow.

The last event was a one hour play put on at a local pub.
No other events planned as yet.

A Rick Wakeman concert at the Albert Hall in London. My next event is a Seekers concert in Bournemouth, really looking forward to that!

Last night I went to my 10 year old daughter’s first softball game of the year they lost 14–2.

Tonight I will be attending her second game hoping for better results this time.

Last for me was the wife’s surprise birthday party, when I saw the bill, the surprise was all mine!
Next biggy will be the British Grand Prix in July at Silverstone, keep it up Lewis.

Recent event: Chinese oil rig objection demonstration.
Next event: water war with China.

Just this evening I attended a scholastic award ceremony held at my daughter’s school.
Next planned event that I can think of is my nephew’s wedding held in Michigan next month.
Nothing groundbreaking.

One of my favorite local musician’s concerts. I have no idea about the next, unless it’s attending my own theatrical performance in July.
