Refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, when are the biggest sales?

I’m not convinced that there is a “best season” – you buy when you need to buy. I can’t see buying in December (for example) and something sit in a warehouse until summer to save $20.00
Of course it depends where you buy. I hate appliance stores because they are on commission and try to pressure you into buying even if it isn’t what you want.
I bought my fridge (about 5 years ago) from Home Depot. I bought a new dishwasher back in January from Lowes, because the old one died. In both cases, the sales person was low key and very informative. (In Lowes’ case, they had an installer come out, and the customer service and follow-up was fantastic.
So… there are more factors at play than saving a couple of dollars.
It seems to me the prices on many devices goes down considerably during tax rebate season, i.e. April.
The day after Thanksgiving.
I don’t know if this helps, but I just saw on a consumer segment of the news that today, Memorial Day, is a great day for buying appliances ( not grills!).
Good luck with this!
I don’t know what time of the year is best, but I always have found the best deals from outlet stores. Manufacturer warranties are usually still available, and you may find a “scratch/dent” item with an extremely small imperfection that makes it “scratch/dent”.
