I’m already making Fruit Crisp with nectarines. What else would you like?

Portobello ravioli with garlic alfredo sauce. And a baby greens salad, please.
I am making vegan quinoa salad with vegetables, cilantro, and mint dressed with olive oil and Balsamic vinegar.. Do you have something that would go with that?
Vegetable samosas and bhaingan bhurta.
(Or a cheeseburger.)
Put another shrimp on the Barbie!
@marinelife How about felafel or hummus with low-carb pita since you’ve got a bit of a Middle Eastern thingy going on?
Oh, glad you asked. I’m starving, and I have to wait more than an hour until we leave for the restaurant.
I’d like something cool, as it’s hot here. A salad, please, with garlic bread and a raspberry-yogurt smoothie. For dessert, watermelon. I’ll be waiting in agony, so hurry, please!
Can’t I just hire you as my head chef?
Lamb kebabs, to go with @janbb‘s low carb pita.
Well, you all inspired me to throw some broccoli and cauliflower with garam masala into the oven to roast. Indian dinner here we come.
@Seek Here you Go. This ravioli also has the addition of asparagus and baby spinach, and here is your Salad. It has baby greens, beets, walnuts and goat cheese.
@marinelife How about this Roasted Vegetable Galette with Kalamata Olives?
@janbb Vegetable Samosas coming right up. If you don’t like the cilantro chutney, you can have Ginger Tamarind Chutney instead. Grab some naan and dip into this Baingan Bharta. If you want a cheeseburger later, you can have This One. It has the addition of bacon and a fried egg.
@GloPro Better call Paul Hogan, ‘cause here’s your Shrimp and Pineapple Kebabs
@ragingloli Here’s your Chutney along with a bunch of other unusual stuff that you might enjoy. I know I wouldn’t LOL
@ucme Mmmm, this sounds good. Stottie Cake and Pease Pudding
@longgone Do you think you’d like this Strawberry Salad with Greens, Feta and Walnuts? Just taking the Garlic Bread out of the oven. I spiced it up a bit. So you can cool down with your Raspberry Yogurt Smoothie and for dessert, how about these Watermelon Balsamic Bites?
@dxs Sure, that’s kind what we’re doing here, only virtually : )
@zenvelo This sounded a bit different than the usual mint yogurt sauce. Lamb Kebabs with Pomegranate Walnut Marinade
@janbb Here’s something a little different. Avocado White Bean Hummus and here’s some “Low Carb Pita Pockets”:
Forgive me, I’ve been picking the strawberries out of that salad, eating them separately. I don’t like fruit in green salads. The feta was a nice touch!
The garlic bread, smoothie and watermelon were wonderful. We’re leaving for the restaurant now, hope I’m not too full :]
Anything with lobster. : )
Off topic a bit, I know, but @Kardamom, do go see Chef, I think you would very much enjoy it. :-)
Red Lobster Cheddar Biscuits.
^^ I’ll have what she’s having!
Lemon meringue pie. Please make the meringue extra think & fluffy, the lemon extra tart and the crust extra crunchy, thank you.
I’m in the mood for tacos, with lots of sour cream and avocados. Thanks, you’re the best. :)
Thank you, that was exzellent!
It all seems fabulous. But could you fashion something to soothe an upset tummy?
These questions are so cruel because uh hello? There’s actually hungry people on the internet.
Duh. Oyster mushrooms Rockefeller.
Tap, tap, tap.
It was #1 on your list, and I’m still waiting.
(What are the odds of a hungry person finding Fluther on the internet, creating an account, then clicking on a question, “What would you like me to make for you to eat today?”
Just saying, it’s going to take a LOT more than that to make me feel guilty about talking) about food here.)
Thai curry (moderately spicy and preferably with chicken, please) with a side of fluffy white rice (I don’t like it when it’s already mixed in the curry—cue When Harry met Sally reference here) and some pineapple coconut sorbet for dessert.
Is there a queue to stand in by now?
Yum ginger carrot definitely you are magic!
Thank you for the recipe. I had no idea that lemon meringue pies take so much time and work and skill to make. I think that it is best left to the professionals.
Shrimp soft tacos, don’t skimp on the lime.
Don’t know if this thread is still active…
Thanks @Kardamom for this thread. I’m not going to give you a hard time so can you make anything with strawberries?
I just ate at our favorite Mexican restaurant, and that recipe still made me salivate, @Kardamom. Exactly what I wanted!
@Kardamom Yeah! That gets rid of my thirst immediately :)
Smoked salmon
Cream cheese
Chives
Dab of Dijon and horseradish mayo
On butter crackers?
Gorgonzola on the side, so we can try it?
Steals salmon and egg sandwich…
Delicious! Devil be damned, I love the egg yellow to be warm and run over the rest. (I treat myself with 2–4 farm eggs a year.)
Better tater salad than the Germans, and no bacon!
Butter crackers and Gorgonzola. Dip is extraneous. But okay!
Now, tomorrow I’m looking for a nice refreshing fresh crab meat salad. Eaten on crackers or Melba toasts. Nothing too fancy, maybe with a bit of fresh lime and cucumber?
We share freely, @dxs. Pull up a chair!
I’ll take the fruit crisp with nectarines!
@Skaggfacemutt I made it again last night, only with the addition of blackberries. Yes, it was fabulous!
Not to my taste, @Kardamom. Simpler. I have pounds of crab meat I need to use up by Sept.
@ibstubro The kitchen is closed for tonight. Probably won’t be open again until Thursday, but I’ll see what I can come up with. Simple crab.

Blackened catfish on griddled garlic bread with lettuce, tomato and a side of sour cream. Swai and mahi mahi are also acceptable. Steak/plank fries with a nice Alfredo or remoulade sauce would be great. Extra creamy cole slaw if you’re puttin on the dog.
T-Bone steak. mashed potatoes and gravy. Mashed sweet potato, corn on the cob and store bought egg nog , extra creamy.
How can you make store-bought egg nog???
@ibstubro Same way to make a T-bone steak .. you buy it first.
“Making” is not synonymous with “buying”.
Unless the egg nog is a mix or kit, @talljasperman?
@ibstubro Sure I’ll try that… for fun. As long as their is no alcohol in the egg nog.
Flap jacks fried in bacon drippings, raccoon ribs with collard clippings; corn pone, baked in a fryin’ pan, don’t want no “moo-goo-gai-pan”!
After “Grandpa” Jones!
