Not really. Our organisms manifestation is just that, a manifestation of how the DNA dice were rolled to bring us into existence. We could all, just as easily, manifested as a grapevine or a goose or a guinea pig. lol
I wish I had been born a turtle. Lazy days of swimming and sunning, virtually no predators to worry about, and a long, stress free life. haha

By definition, yes it is.

We cannot understand it, we are just agents inside whatever it is. Experience, senses and time seem to pattern software disgustingly well. It could be that ourselves, this universe and everything in it can be reduced down to information and information only. Beyond that is simply speculation but it does bring up some interesting thought experiments. One being that our senses could be a telemetry system and we are not even physically here. How would we really know?

There are plenty of things we’ll never know and never have the answers to. In that way it’s an enigma, but as far as surviving goes, I think it’s pretty simple.

Yes, I believe so. Life is always trying to get me in my ass.

Oh wait, that’s and enema.
…....... Never mind.

Life is difficult to manage at times but I think it gets easier if we focus on the things we have control over than it’s less stressful.

I’m beginning to think that it may very well be some sort of test, and not an enigma at all. But then again, the question is loaded. There’s the life of the tree in the yard, or the cockroach in the sewer. I suppose life is no puzzle for either of them. In the end, we all wind up playing the hand we’ve been dealt.

@stanleybmanly or game, a classroom perhaps….

@ARE_you_kidding_me Exactly. This is one explanation that will allow those with a conscience to look at things overall without consideration for the appalling unfairness associated with random chance. Like the difference between being born in California as opposed to Somalia. Perhaps a major impetus for all of those religions involving an afterlife is the rationale that our existence here is short and relatively meaningless compared to our “ultimate” destination.

It changes. Sometimes life feels like it’s a mystery, sometimes crystal clear, especially during happy times.
