The solar system turning into an eye. Also everyone seemed nice and caring from the sketches. Almost like they respected each other.
The Sky Full of Ghosts episode, my favorite. I think this was the one with a scientist walking on the beach with his son or grandson. Can’t recall any lines but I remember it made the universe feel “transcendent” to me as human being.
I haven’t watched the last four episodes yet, but honestly, I wasn’t impressed. To much bashing on religion, while I agree, it got tiresome. Too much looking at the past, yea I get it, you need to show sciences roots, but I’d much rather look toward the future.
The way they said “Thousands of Millions”, rather than “Billions”, probably because of the way people made fun of Carl Sagan’s pronunciation of that word.
re: “Thousands of Millions
I think they changed that to make it more clear.
One billion is 1,000,000,000 in the US and Canada and modern Britain
One billion is 1,000,000,000,000 in continental Europe and old British books

@jaytkay Then trillion and quadrillion are next. What were the old British books say for them?
