Has anyone ever seen a Dik Dik up close?

A dik dik is a small antelope in the genus Madoqua that lives in the bushlands of eastern and southern Africa.

Cute. It’s the sound they make. It warns the others a predator is near.

In captivity, yes. They look like their legs would snap in a stiff wind.

Edit: Oh, I see, this is yet another passive aggressive question. Silly me, I thought it was legit.

This raises the question of whether the onomatopoetic expression of roosters should be censored. ;-)

This question is just begging for poor-taste jokes! I just didn’t want to be the one to start it so I just giggled.

Perhaps this all boils down to the difference between Marilyn Monroe and a rooster. ;-)

Maybe a dik dik is referring to a particular part of the anatomy of a My Little Pony porn movie…?

Yes, I’ve seen a few up close, but mine is much larger.

I would rather see an Ii eye-to-eye. I want that claw!

On-topic: I would like one as a pet!

Off-topic: Is Dik Dik its real name or have you modified it? ~

This is not a passive aggressive Q. I was just thinking about the Q that was talking about animals that are not allowed on Fluther. Then I recalled seeing this very cute deer-like animal, called a dik dik at the Safari Park down in San Diego. So yes, I’ve actually seen a dik dik up close and they’re super cute.
