Would you like to take a little Sunday drive with me?

The road less traveled, just the way I like it.
This is a little slice of the area in the community I may be moving to in a few weeks. Do you have any local roads to share for a collective Sunday Drive?

I do not drive around with strangers.
@ragingloli Good thing. I might dump you off in the woods somewhere. haha
I’ll be waiting in the woods near where you dump off loli! I’ll ride with strangers!
So your community is the trees? I just got back from walking in my town. Bustling as usual.
@dxs Yes, in the hills of Northern CA. Lots of lakes, rivers and waterfalls too. I hate city living, I like certain conveinances like movie theaters and restaurants but not the noise and people. I’ll be about 30 minutes tops from a good sized town though.
@Coloma So how many days will it take you to get to the grocery store?
@Coloma
That is not funny my brother died that way
@Coloma
That is not funny my doggie died that way.

P.S. I thought you dumped loli
Really you guys? Sorry to hear that.
That is not funny I died that way
^^^ The ghost of Symbeline rises. haha
Here’s a little tour around my home town. The country park shown at 3:45 is a fifteen minute walk from where I live, as is the mill at 4:24
@downtide Awesome! I like the brick bridge for the trains, and the ducks in the lake.
What are
automatic bollards anyway? haha
Come visit me August 1 and we can travel 50 miles to be in the Redneck Fishing Tournament on the Illinois River, @Coloma.
Doesn’t it sound fun to have hundreds of asian carp jumping at you?
That actually looks really fun, catch flying fish with nets. lol
@Coloma automatic bollards are posts that stick up out of the road to block access to certain streets; if you have a permit for access, you have a little gadget in your car that you press a button on, the bollard lowers down into the road and allows you to drive in.
And that viaduct is the largest brick-built structure in Europe, if not the world.
@downtide Interesting, I have never heard of anything like that in america here. I learned something new this morning.
@Coloma I think they do it that way here because any other kind of barrier would get vandalised within ten minutes of installation. A twelve-inch diameter steel post is pretty much indestructible.
