Have you ever heard of Cara Delevigne?
PLEASE NOTE! I am not asking who she is, so there is no need to Google.
I’m asking, literally, if you’ve ever heard of her. That requires a “yes/no” answer channeling Judge Judy here.
Apparently she’s a “very, very famous” model. Don’t know how she could be “very famous” if I and at least one other Jelly have never heard of her.

Not before today, but that’s not something I follow or even notice.
@canidmajor Well, if a person is really, REALLY famous you know about them whether you follow them or not. I didn’t particularly care for MJ after about the age of 13, but I certainly knew all about him as time went on. Didn’t even go out of my way, at all, to find stuff out.
Never heard of her, but I do know the names of some (hot) male models that not many other people have heard of…
Then they wouldn’t be considered “famous.”
I see she’s a Brit, model and socialite. Maybe in the UK she’s better known.

No, but… you’ve quoted someone as saying she is “a very famous model”. As someone who knows next to nothing about models, my knowledge is of no value in determining whether your friend accurately described this woman. You need to ask people who actually have a clue about models.
If he or she had said, “She’s a very famous person! Oh, and she’s a model!” that would be different.
Assuming you mean Cara Delevingne, then yes. I would also suggest that a model could be famous even if no one knows their name if instead most people would recognize their face.
You’re right @dappled_leaves. I don’t know any famous fashion models myself, except for the ones that made it it into film. Christie Brinkley, Farrah Fawcett. I remember Twiggy and Tyra Banks tho. I would think that most people don’t know any famous fashion models, unless they’re into that kind of thing The guy who said that Cara Delevigne was “very, very famous” is, apparently, someone who follows fashion models. Unfortunately he also views “fashion models even lower than prostitutes.” Things that make you go “Hmmmm.”
