[NSFW] When it comes to booty calls, who has the more advantageous position, the caller or the one called?

Assuming that the woman is usually the bootee and the male is the booter – I know that isn’t always true but for the sake of argument, let’s use that…

The person being called (the bootee) is always in the position of power. She can always say no and not respond to the call, whatever the desires and expectations are of the booter. And presumably she can change her mind (as can he) at any time.

The person making the call is the needy one – the position of supplication and neediness. The person responding has the upper hand – can refuse to come (in all senses of the word).

But let me make this into a theological argument : Are churchgoers simply responding to a booty call from God (or their minister)?

We can’t, and really do not need to because unlike the Booter, and the Booty, God doesn’t need anyone, He is the sovereign Creator of the universe. People come to God because they recognize that fact and basically the superior intellect to get through life and the favor of knowing the King.

As with the Booter, and Booty, it is about getting something the physically satisfies something they feel they need; even if it never truly satisfies, hence their chasing booty to booty or sex partner to sex partner. If the Booty did not need what the Booter provided, even if it is not the one who called Friday night but any of them no matter which night they ask to come over for a shag, then it might start to appear as a faint, faint shadow of the relationship between saints and God.

No, not really. Does a painter need the painting he/she painted? They created simply because they wanted to for their own enjoyment and pleasure.

Is the Booty only the Booty because they have some need to provide pleasure to the caller but they can get all the intimacy they need from themselves?

I’d say the one called. They have the power to accept or reject, so in a sense they set the terms.

If you’re booty calling someone, you’ve probably both agreed at some point in the past that you’d be ok with sleeping together. So it could be an even playing field.

This is almost like asking, “Two friends meet for coffee. Who has the advantage- the one who set up the coffee date, or the one she calls?” It doesn’t matter. You both want to see each other.

If the one called, for simplicity sake we will say a woman, if she is seen as a 3–5 on a scale of 10, but has a sexy body and is available, does she still have the upper hand if she knows the only reason why her phone rings is that she has a hot body and action is slow with the caller; that she is not seen as ”date material”, or a ’keeper”, just an object for sex. Should she decide to get picky on who to say ”yes” to, what calls she has may dry up. In that situation would you still tip the hand in her favor?

I would not count on it. If the ”booty” is the woman, I would say she is not on top, technically, actually, scientifically, or any other way. He would not be there if she did not have a banging bod and was easy to give it up.
