Who will win the ultimate monster brawl?

Asked by mazingerz88 (29219points) July 8th, 2014

All the monsters in ancient and modern literature, classics and modern Hollywood movies, with the exception of giant monsters, all in one epic battle mayhem….who or what would stand alone as the victor-?

The cookie monster!

Mister Fred Rodgers.

I think he’s some sort of a cousin of mine @dxs. I will bring him down. LOL

We shall see. But wait?... What is this?!...ELMO STRIKES!

My money’s on the classic Godzilla for maximum carnage. Look at Frankenstein, the Mummy, the Werewolf – their damage is very localized. Not much to fear there.

Sounds similar to a Superhero Death Match to me…

@talljasperman Thanks for making me look up this classic video

“with the exception of giant monsters” so, I can’t be in @dappled_leaves’ Godzilla camp?? Because that was my first answer, as well.

The Merman

Damn, I missed that stipulation, @ibstubro. Ok, if I’m only left with the regular-sized guys, I think I’d go with Frankenstein. He’s indiscriminate in his attacks, and he’s not attacking only to feed.

I don’t think you can call monster, and then limit the size.

Barney or Sponge Bob fer sure.

Daleks will exterminate.

THERE. WILL. BE. NO. SURVIVORS.

Xenomorph, got all ya arses licked.

This just in, Elmo is down! Cause of elimination: intense tickling.

Barney is a dinosaur from our imagination…when he’s tall he’s what we call a dinosaur sensation…!

Just dropping in to give everyone a lovely earworm!

Pegasus! Son of Medusa and Poseidon.

Giant wings to fly and beat the crap out of others with, hooves to kick and trample and that high altitude bucking horse routine would fling many to their deaths. haha

Dracula. Even the Devil fears him, and death is his servant. He’s not mindless like a werewolf, and while the werewolf is probably stronger, the vampire is much more clever. He would outdo him easily. As for zombies, Dracula could probably control them them all just by looking at them. And the mummy…he’s just slowly going around being all, blaaaaaa, bitches!

Out of many monsters, too many are brainless and savage to be up to par with Dracula, who is both extremely powerful and conscious. Although @ucme brings in a considerable foe, the xenomorph. Against just one, Dracula would whip it. But if he found himself in a nest of xenomorphs, he would have problems, could be overwhelmed and lose. He would know to go after the queen first though…with her out of the way, he could have an easier time of it. Xenomorphs are worthy allies…but even they cannot fight mist. Of course, there’s not a whole fuck load Dracula can do against someone when he’s just floating, undead flatulence.

Of course against things like Godzilla or Mothra, he might have a harder time. He would have to use his cunning to beat it, but would also need considerable powers to do so. Those things are so strong, and they puke lasers and crap. He’d have to find a way to make himself into a giant bat monster.

But yeah my money is on Dracula. Although my basis for this is on Dracula as seen in video games, where he can do a lot more than the movie Draculas.

Haha there’s this horror movie I heard about, forgot the title, but it’s a big wrestling tournament with all the classic horror monsters…I’m going to have to plan to watch that some day.

Why thank you @Symbeline. :) So I would be the victor and I concur. LOL

However, I’m not going to underestimate Freddie Kruger. Some monster might just fall asleep due to battle fatigue and Kruger is a dream shark as you very well know. Heck, I myself needs sleep. LOL

Jason Vorhess could also be the last monster standing. That walking rotting flesh of a mayhem just doesn’t know how to quit. And I do enjoy a bit of sex now and then. And Jason always shows up to spoil by hacking. Wait, does that apply only to horny teens-?

Berserker's avatar

Ah right, for some reason, I didn’t think about our loved slasher killers. If we include them…yeah, by sheer strength and Energizer bunny power alone, Jason could give Dracula a run for his money. Thing is with Jason, he’s not very smart, (unless you include the remake Jason who seems a lot more clever than original Jason) So Dracula would easily figure something out. Like lure him into some trap that destroys him for a year or two. Same for Michael Myers, but Myers is a little more clever, and if we include the Myers starting from number 4, well, like Jason, he has supernatural powers…unlike the original Myers from the first and second movie, plus killers like Leatherface…a force to be reckoned with for sure, but merely human…no test for Drac.
No, I think the most dangerous one here is, indeed, Freddy. You got that right.
Dracula has to sleep sometime and is, in fact, FORCED to sleep during the day. A big disadvantage, because unlike other monsters, Dracula has no choice but to sleep as required by whatever laws govern his being.
But Dracula is powerful enough to actually be able to walk during the day as we have seen…only then, his powers diminish greatly. But if he doesn’t kill Freddy before he must rest, he could be fucked. Of course, this is assuming Dracula even dreams…and if he does, he can still fight in his dreams. Freddy’s methods are not perfect. But he would pose an extremely dangerous threat. (and Freddy always comes back too, so even if he’s vanquished…)

When you mentioned slasher killers I immediately thought of Freddy. Good pick. No, great pick!
