Have you ever been in a parade, and what do you remember from that time?
Have you ever been in any parade no matter how big or small; for instance, small town Veteran’s Day parade to major parades like the Rose Parade? How old were you when you were in the parade, toddler, child, teen, young adult, etc.? What single thing do you remember most about the parade you were in?

I drove our MG Midget in the homecoming parade ay 16, all I remember is the clutch burning out (what a piece of crap car!).
My high school band played in the city’s memorial day parade. I played saxophone for three years and was in the battery for one year.
Many times in school & as an adult. I like throwing candy to kids, reminds me of simple childhood joys.
I was in the Chicago Southside Irish parade in 1992. I was dressed up as a costumed character as a lady leprechaun for my job.
Here’s what I remember….it was looooong and I was way too hot in that thing. YUCK.
Oh, I was 23.
I marched as a member of the Town Ambulance Service. I did it for 7 years.
Yes, I was 6 I think. It was terrible. I was forced to walk in the heat, got dehydrated, got a headache, threw up and almost passed out. We walked for almost an hour. I’m pretty sure I had heat stroke. Not a very good memory.
At age 13 I was a flower fairy on a float in the annual Auckland Santa Parade, I waved madly at the crowd, it was fun.
