How considerate are you? Its good to be kind but NOT to the point when you forget how important you are too.

I have a healthy balance.
Depends what I’m doing. Sometime, that can be really wild, other times it can be a train wreck.
I am often too self sacrificing, but not always. There are times when I won’t back down in support of my own needs.
I often value others’ needs more than mine. But if I think my kindness isn’t appreciated or is being taken advantage of, I will take it back.
Not usually, sometimes for family.
Putting others’ needs before your own is the foundation of parenthood, and is also necessary in many (most?) professions. If you can’t do this well, you’re not going to manage well as an adult.
Do I put others’ needs before my own? Yes I do, but I do it in balance, so my own resources won’t be depleted.
Yes, mostly for my family. Apart from them I love helping others and it gives me a feeling of accomplishment but never take it to the extreme because it can have the opposite effect. When I was younger I used to put others need before my own, just trying to be a people pleaser, but as I grew older I learnt how to stand up for myself. Truly people can be manipulative!
Probably not. I wouldn’t say I’m selfish (though my mother would), but I’m far from selfless. I take care of me and expect others to take care of themselves, but I usually don’t mind doing things for people. I try to think of others when I do things that affect someone other than myself.
For a long time, I was far too self-sacrificing. I smartened up six years ago (when my dad died). I think now I have a healthy balance. I don’t think I’ll ever slide in the other direction and become selfish though.
At times I suppose. I will bring you a nice meal tonight…**grins**
